getting down with a walk uptown

The hospital sized backstopper.

More residential infill in Corryville. The contrast of architecture is intense. This area has been a bit desperate for residents in recent but seems to be rapidly changing. $200mil in renovation and new development (is some random number I found on the internet). The positive - Mike's Music - vintage equipment, music background, cheap food, next to campus, coffee shops, Kroger groceries (to be rebuilt 2012), hills, pedestrian friendly, new mix-use development.

Vine St. ("short-vine") will see more restoration and development in the coming years including a $20mil mixed-use development, replacing the 100-year old Schiel Elementary School.

Found these hidden treasures down the secret path. These old creatures are few and far between in the downtown business district.

One block west of The Freedom Center, Site of Phase 2 Banks project.
